ServicesGray Child Care Centre is a not for profit Community based Child Care Centre. Catering for Children from the age of 6 months to 5 years. We are a small, homely 48 place Education and Care Centre.
Our centre comprises of three rooms affectionately known as; the Joey’s (6 m to 2y), Wallabies (2y-3y) and Kangaroos (3y-5y).
Within our centre, we have a beautiful, passionate team of early childhood educators who are committed to providing a warm and safe environment for all who cross our threshold. Motivated to go above and beyond for our childcare community, our educators love working with children everyday and we pride ourselves on establishing strong and sustainable connections with all families who join us.

About Us
Gray Child Care Centre is proudly a not-for-profit community-based organisation; serving the Palmerston and wider community since 1998. A parent-based Committee of Management conducts the management of the Centre. We cater for children from 6 months to 5 years, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm

Our centre is rated as Exceeding the national quality standard and we are passionate about the care and education the centre provides. Most Educators are long standing employees with the majority having at least a Diploma qualification as well as a qualified Early Childhood Teachers.

Educational Preschool Program
This program provides a stepping stone in our children’s learning journey to prepare them for a positive start to their formal schooling.
Long Day Care
Our service is structured to provide high quality Education and Care throughout the week as required.
Educational Practices
A play-based curriculum guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (a nationally recognised curriculum framework for children 0-5) supports the education and care of the children enrolled. With principles of connectedness to nature and community being of paramount importance, the emotional wellbeing of children and families is prioritised.
Services For Families
The centre supports families in their parenting role and shares with them information of benefit to their child’s development. We encourage families to be active participators in the life of the centre. Through sharing culture, ideas, knowledge, strengths and differences, a strong partnership is formed. Gray Child Care Centre recognises the importance of communication and collaboration between families and educators and works to form positive relationships.
